Apache 75 day update
Curious, extremely smart, social with people, loves to be held and loved on, good solid riding horse but will excel with a human who not only works her, but loves on her. Can be lazy or energetic, depends on the day, and what my energy level is.
Apache is such a fantastic Trail companion! She is always willing to respond to your requests while managing to constantly be aware of her surroundings. Sensible, solid thinker. Always loads easily into the trailer, ready for the next adventure. When you earn this girl's trust she will go anywhere for you
Apache leads, lunges, bridles, saddles, trailers extremely well. picks up feet, hard ties and ground ties, teeth done, wormed, vet checked, tarped, flagged, blanketed, fly masked, bathes, has been ridden mostly outdoors, but has been in a covered arena, She has ridden with cyclists, cars, tractors, motorcycles, cows, dogs, wind, rain, turbines, irrigation canals, and a few sheep. She HAS been ridden by someone else.
Would make a great trail horse

I have been passionately involved in horse rescue since 2005. I am not officially a horse trainer, however the majority of the horses that I have taken in over the years have been either handled very little or handled badly. Out of necessity I've had to learn how to train them. I am gaining experience almost daily, but I'm the first one to admit that I have a long way to go! Apache will be my very first start to finish solo project, and she is such a wonderful partner. I am fully aware that she is training me too, and I strive to be attentive and respectful to what she has to show me.
